3D image on a 2D screen with no glasses!
This is a picture of my living room. Even
though it's a 2D image it looks 3D!
Notice how the TV looks far away and the chair is close
to you. The shake is needed to make the 3D effect work.
How is it made?
If you want to make your own 3D 2D image then all you need to do
is take 2 pictures about 10cm apart (similar distance between
your left and right eyes). You need to keep the camera
in a similar position, try not to adjust it's height.
Load the 2 pictures into a paint program
and overlay them on different levels. Make the top image 50%
transparent and move the images so they overlap perfectly.
The objects close to you will overlap well, the objects further away
will not. Crop the image so it is just one size and then save
layer 1 and layer 2 as seperate files. You can then load these
into a gif animation tool to make the final image.
