The spec selects any card and places it on top of the pack. The pack is then cut and cut again to lose it in the pack. Now the magician states that he will find the card by listening to the deck. He then places the deck up to his ear at which point he can't see it and riffles down the pack stopping near the middle. He then tilts up the card at where he stopped and it is there card!
